National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung has asked Dak Lak province to coordinate with other Central Highlands localities to make the region a destination for domestic and foreign investors.
National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung has asked Dak Lak provinceto coordinate with other Central Highlands localities to make theregion a destination for domestic and foreign investors.

NA Chairman Hung made the request on Oct. 15 at his working session withDak Lak authorities to inspect the implementation of the Party andState’s policies for ethnic minority people and prepare for the upcomingsecond session of the 13th NA.

The NA leader also asked Dak Lakto have a good planning and policy to turn the Central Highlands intothe country’s strong economic region and lay a firm foundation forensuring security and defence.

Hung said at the upcoming session,the NA will focus on socio-economic development issues relating topolicies to improve living conditions for ethnic people in the CentralHighlands.

The NA leader said he will ask NA agencies to considera resolution on policies for ethnic minority towards the target ofbridging the gap among the rich and the poor, increasing the quality ofhuman resources and bringing into play potentials of this importantregion.

Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party’s Committee NieThuat told the NA leader that the province had only two districts withthe poverty rate of more than 25 percent by the end of 2010 under thestandard set for the 2006-2010 period.

On the same day, Hung met with voters in Dung A and Dung B villages in Ea Khal commune, E A H’Leo district./.

The dispatch states that in implementing Conclusion No. 18-KL/TW dated April 2, 2026 of the 14th Party Central Committee on the 2026–2030 socio-economic development plan, national finance, public debt management and medium-term public investment, linked to the goal of achieving double-digit economic growth, the Government on April 29 issued 11 resolutions on cutting, decentralising and simplifying administrative procedures, business conditions, and conditional business lines. The Prime Minister subsequently directed ministries, agencies and localities to implement these resolutions.
