According to the opinionsof attending officials, the law needs to broaden its enforced objectsbeyond digital information exchange through electronic devices or theinternet.
They also suggested providing detailed banned activities and fines in terms of information collection and use.
Speaking at the function, NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung emphasized thefocal task of the working session is to provide feedback on draft lawsslated for submission at the 9 th NA session.
The implementation of the 2013 Constitution and ensuring fundamental human rights are top of the agenda, he said.
The NA Standing Committee’s 37th session will run through April 10.
