The Standing Committee of the 12 th National Assembly started its 27 th meeting in Hanoi on Jan. 18 to collect opinions concerning several draft laws.
NA Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong said debate will be opened on the bills on trade arbitration, execution of criminal judgements, efficient and effective use of energy, food safety, postal services and people with disabilities.
On the first working day, the NA standing committee discussed the inclusion of the amended law on public investment and the resolution on amendments and complements to some articles of Resolution No. 66/2006/QH11 concerning important national works and projects, in the 2010 law and ordinance building programme.
Members of the NA Standing Committee agreed to submit the matter to the National Assembly for consideration at its 7 th and 8 th sessions, citing that the two legal documents contain important and complicated content that concern many different ministries and agencies./.
