Hanoi (VNA) - The 48th session of the National Assembly(NA) Standing Committee wrapped up in Hanoi on September 18.

Addressingthe session, NA Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong said the NA Standing Committee has worked seriously,commenting on five law projects and three draft resolutions, and proposed importantcontents to submit to the NA at the upcoming 10thsession of the 14th legislature.

She proposed the Government, the Standing Board of the NA's Council for Ethnic Affairs, Committees of theNA, the NA Secretary General, and other relevant agencies urgently complete remaining tasks, especially thoserelated to contents to be submitted to the NA at the 10th session.

Relevantagencies need to send documents to NA deputies as soon as possible and completedraft resolutions for issuing, Phong stressed.

Before theclosing session, members of the NA Standing Committee provided comments on a draftResolution of the NA on exemptions of charges for granting water exploitation rightsfor enterprises operating in the water supply sector and for production and businessin 2020, and a draft Resolution on joining the UN peacekeeping force./.
