As scheduled on the day, it will adopt the Law on Planning and debate the draft revised Law on National Defence in the morning.
Later in the afternoon, lawmakers are due to approve the Resolution on the feasibility report for land reclamation, compensation and resettlement in Long Thanh international airport project, the Resolution on piloting special mechanism, policy for Ho Chi Minh City development, the Resolution on continuing to reform State apparatus in streamlined, efficient and effective operations, and the Resolution on the NA’s question-and-answer activity.
On November 23, the National Assembly adopted the revised Law on Public Debt Management during a plenary session.
Under the direction of NA Vice Chairman Phung Quoc Hien earlier, lawmakers heard a report on acquiring feedback on the bill presented by member of the NA Standing Committee and head of the NA’s Finance-Budget Committee Nguyen Duc Hai.
Also in the morning, they discussed the draft Law on Cyber Security, focusing on technical standards for cyber security, responsibilities of the State management agencies, organisations and individuals, among others.
Minister of Public Security To Lam clarified several issues raised by legislators.
In the afternoon, the NA looked into the draft amended Law on Complaints under the chair of NA Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu.
Twelve deputies gave opinions on the rights and responsibilities of complainants, complaint validity, and settlement of wrongful complaint cases.
Government Inspector General Le Minh Khai provided further information about issues of concern.-VNA
