Businessmen and women working as National Assembly deputies should do their best to express the voice of business people to the parliament, NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung said as he met with the group's representatives in Hanoi on July 30.

Hung spoke highly of the role that NA deputies have as businessmen and women in NA activities, as well as in the national economic development.

He told the deputies to share ideas to the parliament to fulfil the functions of legislation, supervision and decision making of vital national matters.

The deputies, though hailing from various types of business, share self-motivation and creativity and should have close co-ordination to spur the national economy, Hung said.

The deputies spoke about the challenges of the current upheavals of domestic and international economic situations.

They suggested the legislative body complete a legal framework that creates favourable conditions for enterprises and contributes to the country's socio-economic development.

Representing the business circle, deputies pledged to accomplish their tasks as parliamentary members and set examples for developing their own business, which are vital to facilitate other businesses./.
