National online public service portal to be launched

Hanoi (VNA) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has issued a list of online public services at level 3 and 4, which will be implemented at ministries, departments and localities in 2017.

The list consists of 707 administrative procedures, of which 354 will be performed online by ministries and departments while 353 others will be implemented by provinces and cities.

The Ministry of Health will offer 85 administrative procedures online, while the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Ministry of Transport will conduct 74 and 56 respectively.

The Government Office was asked to issue criteria for assessing online services at level 3 and 4. It is also responsible for launching the national online public service portal in 2017 and helping ministries, department and localities integrate e-public services with national services.

The Ministry of Information and Communication will coordinate with the Government Office to release technical regulations to ensure all online public services will be accessed through the national portal.

The PM asked the Ministry of Public Security to complete a national resident database to ensure the sharing of citizen information conforms with national technical standards.-VNA
