Nation’s leaders pay tribute to Uncle Ho

Leaders of the Party, State, Government, National Assembly and Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee on Feb. 10 laid wreaths in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum on the occasion of the Lunar New Year.

Present at the ceremony were Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, State President Nguyen Minh Triet, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Huynh Dam.

Former Party General Secretary Le Kha Phieu, former State President Tran Duc Luong, former National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Van An, and other senior leaders and revolutionary veterans also joined the delegation.

The delegation later laid wreaths at the monument dedicated to fallen combatants.

Also on Feb. 10, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai and leaders of the Government Office offered incenses in commemoration of Uncle Ho at House No. 67 in the President Ho Chi Minh relic./.
