Hanoi (VNA) -
Some print newspapers in Vietnam will celebrate the country’s 45th reunification day by printing the national flag on their April 29 editions.

Readers will be guided to cut the flag printed on both sides of a page in the newspaper and use the rest of the page to form the flagstaff. The small flag can be put in the office, a living room, on the car or any public places, together with flags at condos and public places to stir patriotism.

Readers will be encouraged to take photos of the flag and post on social networks with the hashtag #toiyeuvietnam to spread national pride.

Initiated by the Vietnam News Agency (VNA), various print newspapers namely Tin Tuc (News), The Thao & Van Hoa (Sports & Culture), Vietnam News, The Radio Voice of Vietnam, Gia Dinh Vietnam (Vietnamese Family), Nong Nghiep Vietnam (Vietnamese Agriculture) and Kinh Te & Do Thi (Economics & Urban) will join the movement.

The initiative aims to bring readers a new experience on reunification, creating closer ties between the audience and printed newspapers./.
