Ninh Thuan (VNA) – The central coastal province of Ninh Thuan and the Russian locality of Kursk signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on December 8 to strengthen cooperation.
Per the MoU, the two sides will boost partnership in economics, education, culture, tourism and youth affairs.
They will also establish twinned educational facilities between Kursk’s Kurchatov city and Ninh Thuan’s Phan Rang – Thap Cham city.
The MoU also allows the localities to foster cooperation in high-class tourism, high-tech agriculture and agro-fisheries processing and exporting.
Located in central Russia, Kursk shares similarities in area, population and socio-economic conditions with Ninh Thuan.
Possessing strengths in industry, technology and education, the Russian locality has cooperated with 82 countries and territories through 300 export-import businesses.-VNA
