Rosatom will transfer technology, localise nuclear components, and support the development of Vietnam’s nuclear science and industry to ensure the peaceful use of nuclear energy and contribute to socio-economic development.

Having gone through many ups and downs in history and always stood side by side, the PM said, the two countries now need to make even greater efforts to preserve and promote the relationship, built and nurtured by generations of leaders and people of both sides.

Party General Secretary To Lam stressed that amid a rapidly changing and complex global environment, Vietnam and Russia should further intensify coordination, consultation, and experience sharing to support each other’s security and prosperity.

Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang stressed that his ministry and the Russian Federation Security Council Office, as well as other law enforcement and security agencies of Russia, need to increase the exchange of delegations at all levels to share information, work together in verifying and handling cases involving citizens of the countries, and support each other at multilateral forums and mechanisms.

The “Ho Chi Minh’s Footprints in the Homeland of the October Revolution” exhibition feaures nearly 300 carefully selected photos, documents, and artefacts, divided into three sections on his early revolutionary years; his official visits to the Soviet Union as head of state; and 75 years of bilateral ties built on the foundation he established.

Under the new agreement, the Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace and Saint Petersburg State University of Russia will cooperate in key areas including joint scientific events, student internships, collection of materials related to Ho Chi Minh and bilateral relations, expert exchanges, and co-publishing new works on the President and the history of ties between Vietnam and Russia.

Vietnam stands ready to work with Russia to advance cooperation across all sectors for the benefit of both peoples, said Deputy PM Tran Hong Ha while hosting Andrey Vladimirovich Yatskin, First Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council of Russia's Federal Assembly, in Hanoi on December 1.

Russia highly values the consolidation of cooperation with Vietnam, with parliamentary collaboration as an important pillar of bilateral relations.

To promote ties in tourism, trade, and related fields, the Can Tho leader raised the possibility of opening direct flights from the city to regions of Russia, particularly those where Russian residents have an interest in tropical climate and the distinctive culture of Can Tho.

PM Pham Minh Chinh said that Vietnam always offers all possible support for Russian energy companies, including Zarubezhneft, to operate in the country.

State President Luong Cuong expressed his confidence that the Governor’s visit will contribute to implementing agreements reached by the high-level leaders of both nations and promote increasingly close and effective cooperation between Vietnam and Russia, as well as between Kaluga and Vietnamese localities.

The mission collected a dense set of deep-sea sediment samples from Vietnam’s continental shelf, enriching the field database for this area. Geological samples, along with geophysical and oceanographic data, will provide important input for comprehensive studies on the natural conditions, resource potential, and geological evolution of the continental shelf.

Experts highlighted the importance of cooperation in clean energy and human resources development at a Vietnam-Russia science forum on industrial promotion, technology, and innovation, held by the Ministry of Industry and Trade on November 20 in Hanoi.

The badge is a personal reward but also reflects the St Petersburg Committee for External Relations and the city administration's appreciation of the efforts by the “Tradition and Friendship” Fund of the Vietnamese community in Russia in fostering people-to-people diplomacy as well as mutually beneficial cooperation between St Petersburg and Vietnamese localities.

Bookings by Russian tourists to Vietnam and Thailand have risen over the past week, and are expected to extend through April–May next year, according to the Russian Union of Travel Industry (RUTI).

The meeting discussed the preparations for the coming visit by the Russian Federation Council's Group for Cooperation with the Vietnamese NA and some other issues.
