Vietnamese professor awarded honorary doctorate by Moscow institute

Professor Dr. Tran Hong Thai, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) was granted an Honorary Doctorate by The Moscow Power Engineering Institute (MPEI) for his outstanding contributions to scientific development, education and international cooperation in the energy sector.

Vietnam, Russia promote law enforcement cooperation

Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang stressed that his ministry and the Russian Federation Security Council Office, as well as other law enforcement and security agencies of Russia, need to increase the exchange of delegations at all levels to share information, work together in verifying and handling cases involving citizens of the countries, and support each other at multilateral forums and mechanisms.

Exhibition on President Ho Chi Minh’s footprints in Russia opens in Hanoi

The “Ho Chi Minh’s Footprints in the Homeland of the October Revolution” exhibition feaures nearly 300 carefully selected photos, documents, and artefacts, divided into three sections on his early revolutionary years; his official visits to the Soviet Union as head of state; and 75 years of bilateral ties built on the foundation he established.

Vietnam, Russia cooperate to promote President Ho Chi Minh’s legacy

Under the new agreement, the Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace and Saint Petersburg State University of Russia will cooperate in key areas including joint scientific events, student internships, collection of materials related to Ho Chi Minh and bilateral relations, expert exchanges, and co-publishing new works on the President and the history of ties between Vietnam and Russia.

Vietnam, Russia cooperate in marine, continental shelf research

The mission collected a dense set of deep-sea sediment samples from Vietnam’s continental shelf, enriching the field database for this area. Geological samples, along with geophysical and oceanographic data, will provide important input for comprehensive studies on the natural conditions, resource potential, and geological evolution of the continental shelf.
