No new COVID-19 case was reported during the 12 hours from 6 am to 6 pm on June 9, leaving the total number at 332, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

Hanoi (VNA) – No new COVID-19 case was reported during the 12 hours from 6 am to 6 pmon June 9, leaving the total number at 332, according to the National SteeringCommittee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

Among thetotal 332 cases, 192 were imported and quarantined upon arrival.

Vietnam hasgone through 54 consecutive days with no new COVID-19 infections among thecommunity.

One patientwas given the all clear on June 9, bringing the total number of recovered COVID-19patients to 317.

More than8,180 people are being quarantined at hospitals, designated facilities or theiraccommodations./.

PM releases instructions as measles cases increase

Vietnam has recorded nearly 40,000 suspected measles cases and five measles-related deaths since the beginning of this year. The southern region reported the highest number of cases (57%), the central region accounted for 19.2%, the north 15.1%, and the Central Highlands 8.7%.

Rota vaccine campaign launched

Titled 'Protect Your Baby from the First Steps', the campaign, jointly launched by UNICEF Vietnam and the Ministry of Health, seeks to enhance public awareness, particularly among parents, of the crucial role of the Rota vaccine in preventing acute diarrhoea caused by the Rotavirus.
