Northern Hai Duong province has instructed local health care centres to take urgent measures against swine influenza A/H1N1.
The province’s General Hospital said on May 4 that two patients, including Do Thi Dinh, 25, from Hai Duong city and Tran Thi Tha, 75, from Gia Loc district were tested positive for A/H1N1 virus.
The two were hospitalised on April 26 with symptoms like high fever, difficult breathing and sneezing.
At present, they are under treatment at provincial hospitals with temporarily stable health conditions.
The local authorities have provided 200 litres of Clormin B to Gia Loc district to clean up the environment. The district’s General Hospital has also prepared A/H1N1 preventive plans.-VNA
