Visitors to the fair (Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – The “One Commune, One Product” (OCOP) and farmproduce trade fair in the northern region has been held in Lao Cai province.
The event created a chance for farmers, businesses,cooperatives and sellers to meet and exchange, thus promoting theimplementation of the OCOP programme and supporting localities to build new-stylerural areas in a sustainable and effective manner.
Italso provided anopportunity for northern localities to introduce their potential and advantagesin agriculture and rural tourism services, and for regional companies andcooperatives to meet and seek partnerships.
The fair featured 318booths run by regional cities and provinces, research institutes,agro-businesses, and cooperatives showcasing star-rated OCOP products andhigh-quality agricultural, forestry, and fishery commodities.
It also exhibited key export items such asvegetables, pepper, cashew nut, coffee, and rice, as wellas effective agricultural models, technologies, and agricultural services./.
