Overseas Vietnamese in Belgium on April 25 hosted a meal to raise fund for Vietnamese soldiers on Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago.
Overseas Vietnamese in Belgium on April 25 hosted a meal to raise fund for Vietnamese soldiers on Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago.

The event was jointly held by the Lotus Federation and Centre for Promotion and Development of Relationships between Belgium and Vietnam (CEBELVI).

Speaking at the function, General Secretary of the Lotus Federation Nguyen Manh Hung highlighted the significance of the event, saying that overseas Vietnamese in Brussels raise fund for the National Committee for overseas Vietnamese to support soldiers who are guarding and protecting Spratly island day and night.

Hung also informed that overseas Vietnamese in Brussels launched a toy donation for disadvantaged children in Vietnam in response to “Lovely Doll” programme initiated by Vietnam Association for Protection of Children’s Rights (VAPCR) on the occasion of the Children’s International Day./.
