Party Central Committee discusses summary of land-related policy reform resolution

Hanoi (VNA) – Members of the 13th PartyCentral Committee discussed a project to summarise the 10-year implementation ofthe resolution on continuing to reform land-related policies and laws on May 5,the second sitting day of their ongoing fifth plenum.
The discussion were chaired by Politburo member and PrimeMinister Pham Minh Chinh.
Resolution No. 19-NQ/TW on the work was adopted at the sixth session of the 11th Party CentralCommittee.
In the afternoon, members of the committee discussed in groups on a project toreview the 15-year implementation of a resolution released at the seventhsession of the 10th Party Central Committee regarding agriculture,farmers and rural areas.
The fifth plenum of the 13th Party CentralCommittee will run until May 10./.
The Inspection Commission of the Party Central Committee held the 13th meeting from March 28-31 to look into wrongdoings related to some ministries and agencies, including the COVID-19 test kit case at Viet A company.
The Politburo and the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat on April 15 held a national conference on the implementation of the 13th-tenure Politburo’s resolution on orientations for socio-economic development and defence - security ensuring in the northern midland and mountainous region by 2030, with a vision to 2045.
Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has asked participants at the ongoing fifth plenum of the 13th Party Central Committee to focus on reviewing the project on building Party organisations and developing membership, thus making a new progress in strengthening the quality, strength and combativeness of the Party.
