Party, Gov’t leaders pay pre-Tet visits

During a visit to the force on Jan. 30, PM Dung said, to foster the country’s construction and socio-economic development, it is prerequisite to maintain stability, and the armed force is a key unit to perform this task.

The Party Committee and commanding officers of the force must uphold solidarity within the unit, improve Party-building work, improve self-reliance and preparedness and build the force strongly so that it could meet the requirements amidst the new period and firmly protect the Fatherland’s airspace, he said.

The leader also asked the High Command of the Air and Air Defence Force to work as advisers for municipal and provincial authorities in zoning off airports to ensure harmony between socio-economic development and national defence and security.

Also on Jan. 30, Politburo member Truong Tan Sang visited and sent best wishes to the Party organisation and people of the Red River delta province of Hung Yen on the threshold of Tet, which will begin on Feb. 3.

Politburo member and Head of the Party Central Committee’s Popularisation and Education Commission To Huy Rua visited the northern port city of Hai Phong and the northeastern province of Quang Ninh .

Politburo member and Minister, Head of the Government Office Nguyen Xuan Phuc paid a pre-Tet visit to the central province of Quang Nam, while Le Thanh Hai, Politburo member and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, visited and sent greetings to the Party organisations and residents of the Mekong Delta provinces of Tien Giang and Vinh Long./.
