The articles and speeches were written and delivered by the General Secretaryduring the first half of the Party’s 13th tenure at meetings of theParty Central Committee and the national conferences on the implementation ofthe Politburo’s resolutions on orientations for socio-economic development anddefence - security safeguarding in socio-economic regions by 2030, with avision to 2045.

Each piece of writing provides recommendationsof ways for all-level authorities, sectors, localities, agencies, and units to promotetheir activeness, mobilise resources, and enhance the determination to carryout the resolution to boost rapid and sustainable national development.

Expressing his interest in thewritings on defence - security affairs, Tran Hai Quan, a resident in My Dinh 1ward of Hanoi’s Nam Tu Liem district, said they show that the stability and sustainabledevelopment of all socio-economic aspects form the solid foundation for defence- security, and that the building of the defence - security strength must servethe goal of creating a favourable environment for socio-economic development.

The articles and speeches pointed outthat key economic regions are also located in key defence zones where there aremany important targets that must be protected.
