HCM City (VNA) – A photo exhibition spotlighing the 45-year development of the southern economic hub of Ho Chi Minh City is underway on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975).
The event is taking place from April 28 to May 5 at Nguyen Hue pedestrian street, Dong Khoi street, and the opposite location of Chi Lang Park.
On display are 200 colour and black-and-white photos introducing the historical tradition of Vietnamese army and people, especially the working class in the resistance war against the US to liberate the South and reunite the country under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
