Hanoi (VNA) – Minister-Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung has called for efforts to deal with incomplete documents guiding the implementation of laws and ordinances with heed paid to ensuring their quality and feasibility.
Speaking at the Government’s press conference on June 30, the Minister-Chairman stressed that building and completing institutions has been regarded as a key task and top priority.
The Government and Prime Minister have given importance to removing difficulties and barriers facing enterprises, improving the investment climate and raising business competitiveness, he said.
A total of 91 out of 101 documents detailing the effectuation of laws and ordinances were issued in the first half of this year. Up to 50 decrees stipulating investment and business conditions were also submitted to the Government for issuance and will take effect on July 1, 2016, Dung noted.
He described the documents as the biggest ever breakthrough during the Government’s institutional building and completion, which, he said, is a continuous process that needs timely adjustments and supplements.
The Government and PM always accompany enterprises, professional associations, organisations and individuals, he said, calling on them to increase their supervision and criticism and give feedback on business requirements that are no longer suitable.
Dung emphasised that another 59 documents under the charge of the Government and Prime Minister and 98 circulars need to be issued in the remaining months of this year.
To meet the target, the Government and PM have asked heads of ministries and agencies to pay special attention to the work, he said.-VNA
