PM approves planning tasks for Hoa Binh Lake tourism site

The Prime Minister has approved the tasks for the planning of construction of the Hoa Binh Lake national tourism site in the northern province of Hoa Binh to 2035.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Prime Minister has approved the tasks forthe planning of construction of the Hoa Binh Lake national tourism site in the northernprovince of Hoa Binh to 2035.

The construction planning aims to put into details the overalldevelopment blueprint for the tourism site to 2030, the regional construction planningand related planning, with a view to developing the site into a key destinationin the northern mid-land and mountainous region with unique tourism productsassociated with the Muong ethnic culture and the rich ecological system in thelake.

The tasks for the planning include defining the directions for land use,social and technical infrastructure, environmental sanitation, and services forthe tourism site. The planning should also design connectivity between the siteand other scenic spots and tourism sites in the region.

The planning should show how to optimize the exploitation of the valuesof  local landscape, ethnic culture andlocal identity for tourism development at the site, while creating a legalfoundation for the site’s management and development as well as for theimplementation of other projects and planning schemes.

Under the approved planning tasks, the Hoa Binh Lake national tourismsite is located in Hoa Binh city and four districts of Da Bac, Cao Phong, TanLac and Mai Chau.

Hoa Binh Lake will be the main tourism site of the northern mid-land andmountainous region. Besides offering tourism products associated with the localMuong ethnic culture and the lake’s ecological system, the site also has manyfunctions such as generating electricity, providing water, controlling floodand preserving water resources.-VNA

Over 1.2 million students begin national high school graduation exam

Under the current examination format, candidates are required to complete the mandatory Literature and Mathematics tests, along with a combined test comprising two subjects selected from a range of options, including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Informatics, Foreign Languages, History, Geography, Technology-Industry, Technology-Agriculture, and Economics-Law. Students may also choose to take a foreign language different from the one studied at school.
