Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung attended a national conference of thenational planning and investment sector that opened in central Da Nangcity in the morning of August 7.

The event will focus oncontributing ideas to a mid-tem public investment plan and asocio-economic development plan for the 2016-20 period and solutions toboost the country’s growth.

Opening the event, Minister ofPlanning and Investment Bui Quang Vinh called on delegates to discussand make comments to issues such as investment distribution, and theeconomy’s competitiveness and a common GDP calculation.

Participants will be updated with the Law on Public Investment and the revised Bidding Law.-VNA
