PM leaves for nuclear security summit

PM Dung will later pay an official visit to Argentina from April 15-17 at the invitation of Argentinean President Cristina Fernandez de Kitchner.

The participation of Vietnam at the submit is aimed at confirming the country’s supports for the rights of states to using nuclear for peaceful purposes as well as efforts promoting nuclear disarmament and the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons. At the same time, the attendance will contribute to boosting the US-Vietnam relations in particular and the US-ASEAN ties in general.

Meanwhile, the PM’s visit to Argentina demonstrate Vietnam’s determination to enhance cooperative relations with the Latin American region and bolster political ties with Argentina, creating momentum to increase cooperation in numerous areas, especially in economics and trade between the two countries./.
