Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung left Hanoi on May 12 for official visits to Russian Federation from May 12-15 and the Republic of Belarus from May 15-17.
PM Dung’s visits are made at the invitation of Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich.
His entourage includes Minister and Head of the Government Office Vu Duc Dam, Minister of Trade and Industry Vu Huy Hoang, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Minh Quang, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Bac Son, Minister of Education and Training Pham Vu Luan, together with other senior officials.
The Government leader’s visits aim to affirm that Vietnam always attaches importance to the relations with Russia and Belarus, and wants to incessantly develop the Vietnam-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership, as well as further consolidate and develop the Vietnam-Belarus traditional friendship.-VNA
