Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended the 9th Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS) Summit which took place in the form of an online conference on December 9. The ACMECS is a cooperation framework among Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam to utilize member countries’ diverse strengths and to promote balanced development in the subregion.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc will attend the 9th Summit of the Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS 9), the 10th Cambodia-Laos-Myanmar-Vietnam (CLMV) Summit and the 11th Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Summit on Development Triangle Area (CLV-11), to be held virtually on December 9.
Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen will chair the 9th Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS) Summit which will be held on December 9 via videoconference.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc’s participation in several regional summits – ACMECS-9, CLMV-10 and CLV-11 -, to be held virtually on December 9, reflects the importance that Vietnam attaches to ACMECS, CLMV and CLV cooperation.
