The Vietnamese business environment keeps improving while the macro-economy and socio-political environment have been stable, he said.
The Vietnamese government sets drastic reform in various fields, especially in State-owned enterprises, he said, adding that during the process, the government, ministries and agencies always listen to opinions of businesses to continue improving business climate.
Geithner expressed his optimism about Vietnam’s economic prospect and growth potential in the near future.
He said it is the right time for Warburg Pincus to increase investment in Vietnam because the government is stepping up economic and administrative reform, thus making it easier for foreign investors to expand operations in the country.-VNA
