President Nguyen Xuan Phuc (Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – President Nguyen Xuan Phuc on October 21 sent a letter of congratulations to the Defence Ministry’s Academy of Politics on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of its Traditional Day (October 25).
In the letter, he conveyed his warm sentiment and best wishes to generals, officers, lecturers, students and soldiers of the academy.
Throughout 70 years of development under the leadership of the Party, State, the Defence Ministry and the Central Military Commission, he hailed them for staying united, active, creative to overcome difficulties and fulfil assigned tasks. Tens of thousands of political officers at strategic level were trained in the academy to join in battlefields nationwide, contributing to building a politically strong army, strengthening the Party leadership on the army, as well as the victory of the armed forces and people in the past resistance wars and the national construction and defence at present.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Phuc hailed generations of generals, officers, lecturers, students and soldiers of the academy for their achievements over the past seven decades.
He expressed his strong belief that they will keep improving the quality of training and scientific research, build a regular and modern academy with a strong and transparent Party unit, thus making active contributions to building a politically strong army and enhancing fighting power of the heroic Vietnam People’s Army./.
