At the banquet (Source: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) –President Tran Dai Quang hosted a banquet in Hanoi on November 11 evening inhonour of President Donald Trump and a high-ranking delegation of the US, whohave been on a two-day State visit to Vietnam.
Speaking at the event, President Quangrecalled ups and downs in history of bilateral ties which have been elevated tothe level of strategic partnership on the basis of mutual respect to eachother’s independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and political regime, andjoint efforts for peace, stability, cooperation and development in theAsia-Pacific.

President Quang spoke highly ofthe US President’s speech at the APEC Business Summit, affirming the US’sstrong and long-term commitments to the Asia-Pacific, Indian Ocean and adjacentregions, and wished that the US would further uphold its important role over regionalcountries.
