Prime Minister arrives in Japan

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung arrived in Tokyo in the afternoon of October 30, beginning an official visit to Japan at the invitation of Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda.

In an informal meeting with the Embassystaff and the overseas Vietnamese, Prime Minister Dung praised theefforts by Vietnamese representative missions and overseas Vietnamese topromote the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Japan.

He presented certificates of merit to the Embassy and AmbassadorNguyen Phu Binh in recognition of their role in rescuing Vietnamesecitizens in Japan following the earthquake and tsunami in March./.

Vietnamese Embassy in Israel urges citizens to enhance safety measures

The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel recommended that Vietnamese nationals regularly follow alerts and instructions issued by the Israeli Home Front Command; install and use the official Home Front Command warning application; and immediately move to a safe room or shelter when air raid sirens sound. They should avoid unnecessary travel and stay away from areas considered unsafe or at risk of unsafety.
