The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on Dec. 7 hosted a workshop to start a project on increasing health system management capacity.
The project aims to improve training capacity for medical staff as well as the management and use of human resources in the health sector.
Speaking at the workshop, Minister of Public Health Nguyen Thi Kim Tien said the sector should give priority to developing initial healthcare, family-doctor network and communications works, expressing her hope that this project will help the sector renovate its medical and human resources management system.
To effectively deploy the project, MoPH conducted a technical assistance project between July 2011 and July 2013, focusing on analysing reality of health system management capacity and building an action plan to improve health system management capacity along with sharing knowledge and experiences in the issue./.
