An obstetrics and pediatrics hospital in the northern province of Quang Ninh was officially inaugurated on August 7, helping local people access more high-tech services and reducing the burden on hospitals at the central level.
The project was built at a cost of 500 billion VND (23.6 million USD). It has 12 faculties with 200 hospital beds.
The hospital provided check-ups and treatment for 2,000 patients during the first four week of operation.
