The northern coastal province of Quang Ninh inaugurated its two first centres for public administration in Uong Bi and Mong Cai cities on August 2.
The centres will publicise 69 administrative procedures concerning justice; culture; finance - planning; labour - war invalids and social affairs; construction; transport; natural resources and environment.
Fees, duration and process of handling procedures and responsibilities of relating sides will also be announced here.
The launch of these public administrative centres constitutes Quang Ninh’s move forward in shaping an e-administration that will bring practical benefits to local people, businesses and investors as well.
After Uong Bi and Mong Cai, other selected localities, namely Ha Long, Cam Pha cities and Van Don district, will see their public administrative centres operate in the first quarter of 2014.
In the 2013-2015 period Vietnam aims to develop its e-government through IT application in state agencies towards a Connected Government by 2020.-VNA
