According to Ha Nam’s Ly Nhan district environmental monitoring station, the water level measured 2.4 metres on July 15, two metres below the alert level. Amid the rainy season and with Hoa Binh hydropower plant discharging, the water level may reach alert level 1, threatening residents.
The Central Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Control has instructed localities to monitor the flood situation.-VNA
