Reference exchange rate down 5 VND on September 24

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,134 VND/USD on September 24, down 5 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set thedaily reference exchange rate at 23,134 VND/USD on September 24, down 5 VNDfrom the previous day.

With the current trading band of /- 3 percent,the ceiling rate applicable to commercial banks during the day is 23,828 VND/USDand the floor rate 22,439 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates at commercial banks slightlyfluctuated.

At 8.25 am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at22,630 VND/USD and the selling rate at 22,860 VND/USD, unchanged from September23.

BIDV increased both rates by 5 VND, listing thebuying rate at 22,665 VND/USD and the selling rate at 22,865 VND/USD.

Similarly, Vietinbank listed the rates at 22,645VND/USD (buying) and 22,865 VND/USD (selling), up 5 VND against the previousday./.

First “green lane” durian shipment exported to China

​Under the “green lane” process, quality control begins at the cultivation stage, including soil sampling and monitoring, and continues through harvesting and processing, with traceability labels attached to trees and applied to fruit at the time of picking. It also allows plant quarantine procedures and the issuance of certificates of origin (C/O) directly in the localities where the orchards are located.

Vietnam pushes for deeper auto supply chain ties with RoK
