Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 24,251 VND/USD on July 18, down 5 VND from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,464 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,038 VND/USD.
At commercial banks, the opening-hour rates also went down.
At 8:25am, Vietcombank listed the rates at 25,143 VND/USD (buying) and 25.463 VND/USD (selling), down 105 VND and 5 VND, respectively.
Meanwhile, BIDV listed the rates at 25,218 and 25, 468 VND/USD, down 30 VND for buying and unchanged for selling./.
Reference exchange rate edges up on July 17
