Reference exchange rate goes up 15 VND

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 22,441 VND/USD on January 30, up 15 VND from the previous day. 

With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,104 VND/USD and the floor rate 21,770 VND/USD. 

The opening hour rates at major commercial banks stay stable. 

The green back is being bought at 22,675 VND/USD and sold at 22,745 VND/USD at both Vietcombank and BIDV, unchanged from the listed rates on January 29. 

Vietinbank raised both rates by 1 VND, listing the buying rate at 22,675 VND/USD and the selling rate at 22,745 VND/USD.-VNA
