Reference exchange rate kept unchanged at week’s beginning
The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,192 VND per USD on July 19, unchanged from the last working day of previous week (July 16).

Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,192 VND per USD on July 19, unchanged from the last working day of previous week (July 16).
With the current trading band of /- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial bank during the day is 23,887 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,496 VND/USD.
The rates listed at commercial banks also stayed stable.
At 8:11 am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 22,880 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,110 VND/USD, unchanged from the rates on July 16.
BIDV also kept both rates unchanged at 22,910 VND/USD (buying) and 23,115 VND/USD (selling).
During the week from July 12-16, the daily reference exchange rate fluctuated variably and ended the week down 9 VND./.
