With the current trading band of +/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,944 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,549 VND/USD.
The opening hour rates at some commercial banks saw reductions.
At 8:25am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 23,150 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,360 VND/USD, both down 10 VND from the same time on May 20.
At BIDV, both rates were also adjusted down 10 VND to 23,175 VND/USD (buying), and 23,355 VND/USD (selling).
Meanwhile, Techcombank cut 14 VND from both rates, listing the buying rate at 23,156 VND/USD, and the selling rate at 23,356 VND/USD./.
