The daily reference VND/USD exchange rate is set at 22,411 VND on January 4 (Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference VND/USD exchange rate at 22,411 VND on January 4, up 6 VND from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,074 VND/USD and the floor rate 21,738 VND/USD.
The opening hour rates at major commercial banks stayed stable.
Vietcombank and Vietinbank maintained their listed rates unchanged from January 3.
The rates are listed at 22,675 VND/USD (buying), and 22,745 VND/USD (selling) at Vietcombank, and 22,675 VND/USD (buying) and 22,744 VND/USD (selling) at Vietinbank.
Meanwhile, the greenback is being bought at 22,680 VND and sold at 22,750 VND per USD at BIDV, both up 5 VND from yesterday.-VNA
