Reference exchange rate unchanged on December 12

The State Bank of Vietnam kept the daily reference exchange rate on December 12 unchanged from the previous day at 22,775 VND/USD.

Hanoi (VNA) – The StateBank of Vietnam kept the daily reference exchange rate on December 12 unchangedfrom the previous day at 22,775 VND/USD.   

With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks for the day is 23,457VND/USD and the floor rate is 22,093 VND/USD.

The rates listed at commercialbanks either stayed stable or dropped slightly.

Vietcombank cut 10 VND from bothrates, listing the buying rate at  23,255VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,345 VND.

BIDV maintained the same ratesas on December 11, at 23,260 VND/USD (buying) and 23,350 VND/USD (selling).

Both rates at Techcombankdropped by 10 VND to 23,235 VND/USD (buying) and 23,345 VND/USD (selling).

The rates listed at thetransaction office of the State Bank of Vietnam were unchanged from theprevious day at 22,700 VND/USD (buying) and 23,408 VND/USD (selling).-VNA
