Reference exchange rate up 14 VND

The reference exchange rate set by the State Bank went up 14 VND from the day before to 22,029 VND per USD on November 8 morning.

Hanoi (VNA) – The reference exchange rate set by the State Bank went up 14 VND from the day before to 22,029 VND per USD on November 8 morning.

With the current +/-3 VND trading band, the ceiling exchange rate for commercial banks on the day will be 22,690 VND and the floor rate, 21,368 VND for one USD.

The listed rates at commercial banks early this morning saw slight changes, with Vietcombank raising both buying and selling rates by 5 VND, to 22,295 VND (buying) and 22,365 VND (selling) for one USD.

The BIDV listed its buying rate at 22,295 VND and selling rate at 22,365 VND per USD, up 10 VND for both rates.

Meanwhile, Eximbank maintained its listed rates unchanged from end of last week, at 22,280 VND (buying) and 22,360 VND (selling) per USD.

At Techcombank, one USD was bought for 22,250 VND and sold at 22,390 VND, the same as on November 7.-VNA
