Reference exchange rate up 17 VND on June 30

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,800 VND/USD on June 30, up 17 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set thedaily reference exchange rate at 23,800 VND/USD on June 30, up 17 VND from theprevious day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, theceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 24,988 VND/USDand the floor rate 22,612 VND/USD.

At commercial banks, the opening-hour ratescontinued to increase.

At 8:15am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at23,375 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,745 VND/USD, both up 15 VND from theend of June 29.

BIDV also added 15 VND to both rates,listing at 23,425 VND/USD (buying) and 23,725 VND/USD (selling).

In the week from June 26-30, the daily reference exchangerate was adjusted down on Monday and Wednesday and up on the the other threedays. It ended the week up 45 VND./.

Can Tho, Guangxi seek collaboration in logistics, supply chains

Chinese investors now back 35 projects in Can Tho with registered capital of nearly 1.2 billion USD. In the first seven months of 2026, Can Tho’s exports to China hit 77.5 million USD, while imports stood at 64.7 million USD. Key exports included rice, seafood, farm produce, processed agricultural products and apparel while main imports comprised agricultural chemicals, veterinary medicines, fertilisers, chemicals, fabrics and other materials and inputs.

Vietnam, Russia move to boost financial cooperation

On bilateral economic, trade and investment ties, Tuan said two-way trade hit 3.24 billion USD in the first seven months of 2026, up 12% from a year earlier. Vietnam’s exports to Russia totaled 1.33 billion USD, while imports amounted to 1.91 billion USD.
