With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,412 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,050 VND/USD.
The opening hour rates at commercial banks also rose.
Vietcombank raised both rates by 20 VND from November 20, listing the buying rate at 23,290 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,380 VND/USD.
The rates listed at BIDV went up 15 VND, to 23,290 VND/USD (buying) and 23,380 VND/USD (selling).
Both the rates at Techcombank also increased by 20 VND, with the buying rate at 23,270 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,380 VND/USD.-VNA
