PMs hold talks to boost Vietnam – Ethiopia ties

To facilitate economic ties, the two sides agreed to negotiate basic agreements and deals, particularly a free trade agreement, an agreement on investment facilitation and protection, a double taxation avoidance agreement, and a cooperation deal on cybersecurity and high-tech crime combat.

Top leader hosts Ethiopian Prime Minister

Vietnam always values its friendship and cooperation with African countries, including Ethiopia. Both sides should study and identify several priority areas for cooperation in the coming period, based on their respective potential and needs, particularly in agriculture, trade, investment, science and technology, and people-to-people and business-to-business connectivity.

Ethiopian PM begins official visit to Vietnam

This is the first official visit to Vietnam by a high-ranking Ethiopian leader since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1976. It is also the first high-level delegation exchange between Vietnam and Ethiopia in seven years.
