SIXDO Exclusive, a fashion show with many impressive designs by renowned Vietnamese designer Do Manh Cuong, took place at the campus of the University of Sydney, Australia, on April 22.

Sydney (VNA) – SIXDO Exclusive, a fashion show with many impressive designsby renowned Vietnamese designer Do Manh Cuong, took place at the campus of the Universityof Sydney, Australia, on April 22.

Asidefrom the designs oriented towards all people - “SIXDO for all”, there were alsolimited-edition ones with higher prices.

Healso brought to the event his spring - summer 2023 and evening dresscollections.

Theshow featured four parts with 160 designs performed by 66 models, including famousones from Vietnam and others from three Australian-based model agencies.

Cuongsaid that fashion is the creativity reflecting the soul and identity of eachperson. Many of his designs at the show could be too strange-looking compared to whatpeople often think about him, but all were created in the spirit of minimalism, elegance, luxury, and femininity./.

People’s Artist Nguyen Hoang Tuan, Chairman of the Hanoi Theatre Association, noted that while northern Vietnam had 27 puppetry guilds in 1986, only 14 remain today. Many traditional plays and original scripts have been lost, hurting restoration and preservation efforts.

Project on digital transformation in cultural sector approved

By 2030, the project targets the establishment of shared digital platforms across 100% of cultural sectors. All digitised cultural heritage will be standardised under the national data framework and shared in accordance with regulations, while 80% of public digital heritage assets are expected to receive digital identifiers to clarify ownership and management, encouraging organisations and individuals to do the same and support market development.
