Retail prices of petrol across the country will decrease by 500 VND per litre as of 9 pm, May 27, according to a Ministry of Finance (MoF)’s recent decision.
With the adjustment, retail prices will be 16,490 VND per litre of A92 unleaded petrol.
This is the first time MoF has made a decision to force petrol trading businesses to lower their retail petrol prices after Decree 84/2009/ ND-CP on trading petrol and oil products was issued.
The decision was made as a result of tumbling petrol prices on the world market over the past 20 days, explained MoF./.
