RoK enterprises keen on investing in Binh Duong

A delegation of enterprises from Gimpo city, the Republic of Korea (RoK), has expressed pleasure with business environment in the southern province of Binh Duong, saying they wish to invest in this locality.

Mayorof Gimpo city in Gyeonggi province Yoo Young Rok, who headed thedelegation, told officials of the Binh Duong provincial People’sCommittee on October 30 that his visit is to promote investmentcooperation and exchange of goods between the two localities.

Gimpois one of the RoK’s industrial and tourism hubs and has attracted 1,700Vietnamese workers, he said, adding that its close proximity to the seawill facilitate trade with Vietnam and other countries in the region.

Two localities’ strengths and advantages will make room to boost cooperation and investment in various fields, he stressed.

Toattract more foreign investment, Binh Duong province has improvedcomprehensive infrastructure and created favourable conditions forforeign enterprises.

Binh Duong is now home to 487 RoK investment projects worth 1.9 billion USD.

Asmany as 2,344 foreign direct investment projects with a totalinvestment of over 20 billion USD are running in Binh Duong. In Octoberalone, the province attracted 1.43 billion USD in foreign directinvestment.-VNA

According to Tran Thi Be Bay, Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment, the cooperative groups and cooperatives have members engaging in logistics services, such as purchasing seafood at sea and supplying fuel to fishing vessels, thereby helping fishermen stay longer at sea and increase productivity.

Three O’Clock brings Vietnamese coffee to India’s billion-people market

This milestone on November 8 came 11 months after the signing of an international franchise agreement between Three O’Clock (a brand under the Teatime limited company) and its exclusive master franchise partner for the Indian subcontinent FranGlobal. Vietjet reports strong growth in Q3, announces 20% stock dividend

In Q3, Vietjet's air transport revenue reached 16.728 trillion VND, with a pre-tax profit of 393 billion VND. Fitch Ratings affirms Northern Power Corporation at ‘BB+’ with stable outlook

The rating reflects EVNNPC’s standalone credit profile of ‘BB+’, which is on par with both parent company EVN and Vietnam’s sovereign rating of ‘BB+/Stable’.
