A Republic of Korea-Vietnam business forum was held in Seoul on April 19 to provide information on Vietnam’s orientations and development demands to RoK businesses.

Addressing the event, Deputy Chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Lee Dong-geun expressed his hope that the forum will create a chance for businesses to meet and seek partners and enhance mutual understanding, thus contributing to upgrading the Vietnam – RoK strategic partnership to new level.

Vietnamese Ambassadors to the RoK Tran Trong Toan highlighted Vietnam’s recent achievements, particularly high economic growth rate and poverty reduction.

He said that the forum is a good opportunity for the RoK’s enterprises to update Vietnam ’s orientations and development demands until 2020 as well as discuss directly with Vietnamese partners.
