Russian media have recently spotlighted Vietnam’s preparation for the 13th national congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), as well as the country’s achievements in political, social and economic areas and external affairs.

Moscow (VNA) – Russian media have recentlyspotlighted Vietnam’s preparation for the 13th national congress of the Communist Party ofVietnam (CPV), as well as the country’s achievements in political,social and economic areas and external affairs.

They also mentioned the CPV’s goals and orientations to 2030, with a vision to2045.

In an article highlighting Vietnam’s preparation for the Communist Party congresspublished on Pravda (the Truth) newspaper, Piotr Tsvetov, Vice Chairman of theRussia-Vietnam Friendship Association (RVFA), said the main objectives and strategictasks of the Vietnamese communists are to develop a prosperous and happycountry, striving to turn Vietnam into a socialist-oriented developed countryby the middle of the 21st century.

He highly valued the determination of the CPV’s leaders in strictly handlingviolations, from dismissing, expelling from the Party to prosecuting and bringingto trials, in the spirit of "no restricted zones".

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Council of Experts of the Eurasian Research FundGrigory Trofimchuk, in his article published on infox.ru - one of Russia'sleading electronic newspapers, said that thanks to the strategic guideline setby the CPV, taking into account all changes in the world, the region and thecountry, Vietnam has made many impressive achievements across fields .

Vietnam and its people are on the right track and become an example for many countries,he stressed, adding that the CPV will lead the nation in all aspects.

Previously, in a programme of the Rassvet (Dawn) TV channel, Grigory Trofimchuk,an expert on international issues, said with the foreign policy of openness,multilateralisation and diversification, on the basis of inheriting the traditionalfriendship with the former Soviet Union, the CPV maintains close cooperationrelations with the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (KPRF) as well as with all politicalparties of the Russian State Duma.

Vietnam has always been steadfast in the revolutionary path it chooses,even in the most difficult times, he stressed.

The country has also made appropriate adjustments to its Doi moi (renewal)process to complete the socialist-oriented market economy, thereby helping its economydevelop stably despite the COVID-19 pandemic, he noted.

According to the Russian expert, Vietnam's position is increasingly improved,not only as a destination for international tourists but also as a venue formany important international events.
