Supermarket chain Saigon Co.op has received the Consumer Service Excellence Award by the Federation of Asia-Pacific Retailers Associations (FAPRA).
Saigon Co.op, also known as the Saigon Union of Trading Cooperatives, is the first Vietnamese retailer to win this prize, which has been recently announced at a ceremony in Istanbul, Turkey.
The Migros Ticaret A.S of Turkey and the Sa Sa International Holding Limited – La Colline Shop of Hong Kong (China) are also named in this category.
Held biennially from 2009, FAPRA awards aim to honour outstanding businesses, associations and individuals in the retail industry in five categories, namely most innovative retail concept, green retailer, best marketing campaign, customer service excellence and best effort in retail employee training.-VNA
